Context

In anticipation of the Paris 2024 Olympics, Nike wanted the Air for Athletes campaign to take over all four stories of the the House of Innovation. The goal was to create a dynamic and immersive space showcasing the brand’s ‘Air’ technology, while also celebrating the iconic athlete’s participating in the 2024 Olympics.

Challenge

The goal was to transform a flagship retail space into a monumental tribute to the brand’s groundbreaking ‘Air’ technology while celebrating the athlete’s journey of turning dreams into reality. The challenge was to integrate a bold, theatrical design into the store’s existing design, while maintaining a cohesive and immersive brand experience throughout. With the space needing to accommodate multiple interactive elements, live events during the Olympics, and athlete tributes, the design had to balance functionality, storytelling, and visual impact.

Experience

The result was a dynamic, multi-sensory takeover that blended sport, retail, and storytelling. From high-energy window displays to the stadium-like Air Arena, every element reinforced movement and inspiration. Interactive experiences, including a sensory-driven Air Experience and customizable Air Studio, promoted engagement while Athlete Worlds immersed visitors in the stories of iconic sports figures.
